The school had been holding this competition for years before I was even a student at the school. Throughout all that time however, no float was ever worth keeping due to its poor design. The float base I designed and constructed however was lightweight, cheap, and big meeting all the criteria. This design proved to be so successful the class advisor asked for a copy of the design to set as a standard for all future float bases. With this design I had in yet another way left a piece of me as a legacy at the high school.
